Bernalillo, NM (October 30, 2022) - A major car wreck happened in Bernalillo on the evening of October 28. At approximately 8:20 p.m., crews were sent to assess the scene and render aid.
The right lane of I-25 was blocked near Osuna Road and San Mateo Boulevard due to the accident. Stop-and-go traffic ensued back to Alameda Boulevard while responders worked in the area.
At least one person was injured in the wreck. Paramedics treated the wounded parties at the scene before transporting them to local hospitals as needed.
The names of those involved were not immediately released to the public. Police in Albuquerque continue to investigate the details of the collision.
Delays in traffic were seen near the crash site for some time on Friday.
