Albuquerque, NM (September 25, 2022) - A car accident happened in Albuquerque on the night of September 23. At least one person was hurt in the wreck that happened for reasons still being investigated by police.
According to reports, the wreck occurred on Interstate 40 near mile post 156 at around 9:15 p.m. An unkonwn number of vehicles crashed in the area and injured at least one person. The names of the injured parties were not reported.
Traffic was backed up near the wreck site while emergency crews were in the area. Sources say one or more people required transportation to the hospital for the treatment of injuries.
Police continue to investigate the circumstances of the crash.
