Albuquerque, NM - Vehicle Crash Results in Injuries on Coal Ave near University Ave

Albuquerque, NM (August 14, 2022) - A major vehicle collision occurred in Albuquerque on the afternoon of August 12 that ended in injuries and traffic delays. Multiple responders were sent to the crash scene to help those involved a short time after the incident took place. 

At approximately 2:40 p.m., police and paramedics were observed in the area where the crash happened. The total number of injured victims was not reported, however, paramedics were seen rendering aid to those in need of medical care. 

Extensively injured patients were transported to the hospital from the crash scene. Their identities have not been released at this time. 

Traffic was delayed in the area for some time while responders worked to secure the scene. Local drivers were urged to find alternate routes of travel for the time being.
