Albuquerque, NM - Vehicle Crash on Lead Ave near Vassar Dr Ends in Injuries

Albuquerque, NM (August 14, 2022) - A major car crash happened in Albuquerque on the afternoon of August 12. At approximately 3:30 p.m., responders were sent to the scene of a crash on Lead Avenue. 

According to reports, the incident occurred on Lead Avenue near Vassar Drive. At least two vehicles collided in the area and caused injuries to the involved parties. 

Police, EMTs, and fire crews were seen helping at the crash site. Currently, what led up to the accident has not been reported. 

Crews worked in the area for an extended period of time causing significant traffic delays. Drivers commuting near Vassar Drive on Lead Avenue were forced to find alternative travel routes for the time being. 

At this time, authorities in Albuquerque continue to investigate the details of the incident.
