Albuquerque, NM - Vehicle Accident on I-40 near Rio Grande River Ends in Injuries

Albuquerque, NM (July 31, 2022) - A car accident happened on an interstate in Albuquerque on the afternoon of July 29. Sources say the collision occurred on I-40 at around 2:45 p.m. 

Responders including the Albuquerque Police Department and paramedics were dispatched to the site of the wreck on Interstate 40 near the Rio Grande River. Emergency crews rendered aid to those with injuries at the scene. 

One or more individuals required emergency treatment on-site. The total number of people transported to the hospital was not reported.
