Albuquerque, NM - Car Wreck Ends in Injuries on I-40 near Wyoming Blvd

Albuquerque, NM (July 30, 2022) - An auto accident happened in Albuquerque that required an emergency dispatch. At approximately 1:00 p.m. on July 29, an unspecified number of vehicles collided on I-40 and caused injuries. 

One or more victims were treated at the site of the wreck on Interstate 40 near Wyoming Boulevard. What caused the collision to occur is still being investigated by police in Albuquerque. 

Paramedics rendered aid to the injured victims at the scene. At this time, the total number of injured victims has not been reported. 

Police investigated the scene for some time while paramedics rendered emergency aid to the injured victims. At least one person was transported from the crash site with injuries. 

Delays in traffic ensued near the crash site. Local police asked drivers to use different routes of travel while responders worked in the area. 

We hope for the full recovery of the injured victims.
