Albuquerque, NM (July 17, 2022) – A traffic-related incident took place on Sunday morning that ended in injuries. On July 17, the Albuquerque Police Department and firefighters were notified that a motor vehicle accident occurred on Interstate 25, the CanAm Highway, which required assistance.
Police and firefighters arrived at the scene at around 940 in the morning. They went to work immediately on securing the southbound side of the roadway near Avenida Cesar Chavez Southeast so no one else was injured and no further vehicles suffered damage.
At least one person involved in this Interstate 25 collision was injured in transported to a local facility for medical care.
The Albuquerque Police Department is conducting an investigation into the accidents.
