Deming, NM (May 25, 2022) - The identities of the three people who were killed following a car accident in the Deming area on Saturday night, May 21, have been released.
It was revealed that 53-year-old Raymundo Cruz Herrera and 41-year-old Jose Luis Guerrero of El Paso and 27-year-old Abraham Calderon of Anthony, Texas were killed in the accident. The three were reportedly being towed by a GMC Yukon hauling a Nissan SUV with four passengers. The vehicle was traveling on the highway when both overturned.
Both vehicles rolled over in the crash. The three deceased parties were traveling in the Nissan which was overturned in the crash. All three suffered fatal injuries and were pronounced dead at the scene. Five others were hospitalized and treated for sustained injuries.
An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is underway.
