Carnuel, NM (May 26, 2022) - Several lanes on a highway in Carnuel were stopped after a car accident on Wednesday morning, May 25. Around 10:45 a.m. the accident happened on Interstate 40 EB near mile marker 172.
At least one involved party was hurt in the incident, according to early reports. At this moment, the actual number of people injured remains unclear. According to emergency personnel, the highway was reduced to a single lane as a result of the accident. The wounded were sent to a nearby hospital by ambulance for further treatment.
