Deming, NM (September 11, 2021) - At least one person was killed in the aftermath of a two-vehicle crash in Deming on Friday, September 10.
The incident occurred that afternoon and resulted in several hours of major traffic delays. The accident took place between mile markers 49 and 55 on Interstate 10 WB. A semi-truck and a passenger car were reportedly involved in the collision.
Debris was scattered across the highway following the crash. Cars were backed up roughly ten miles. The area was later re-opened at around 10 p.m. The identities of the involved parties have not yet been disclosed.
