Albuquerque, NM - Cyclist Dies Following crash at Zuni Rd & Grove St

Albuquerque, NM (August 27, 2021) - A vehicle accident in the Albuquerque area on Thursday, August 26, ended in the death of a cyclist. 

The fatal accident reportedly took place at the intersection of Zuni Road and Grove Street. Reports from the Albuquerque Police Department revealed that the incident occurred that afternoon. A driver was reportedly making a left turn onto Zuni Road at the time of the crash. 

A bicyclist was crossing at the intersection when they were hit by the motorist. The driver told authorities that they were unable to see the rider. The injured party was transported to a local hospital by responding paramedics. They were later pronounced dead. The identities of the involved parties have not been revealed at this time.
