Intersection Collisions in Albuquerque
Traffic signals can only do so much to prevent a deadly collision. National statistics show that red-light runners are responsible for hundreds of deaths across the country each year. Despite accounting for a small percentage of total American highways, the Federal Highway Administration estimates that 2.5 million automotive accidents occur at traffic crossings each year. According to national statistics, these types of accidents account for roughly 20% of all roadway deaths in the United States. At intersections, the danger of getting wounded in a car accident is notably greater.
