Deming, NM - Multiple Injuries in Fatal Rollover on I-10 near Milepost 110

Deming, NM (May 5, 2021) - A rollover collision outside of Deming left one person dead and many others injured on Tuesday, May 4. 

According to the New Mexico State Police, the deadly crash occurred at around noon on Interstate 10 EB between mileposts 109 and 110. A single-vehicle was traveling east on the interstate when it overturned. Emergency responders were sighted at the scene providing aid to the involved parties. 

One person was pronounced dead at the scene. Several other victims were taken to the University Medical Center in El Paso in serious condition. The identities of the involved parties have not been disclosed at this time. 

An ongoing investigation into the cause of the fatal incident is underway.
