Albuquerque, NM - Two-Car Injury Accident on I-40 at Rio Grande River

Albuquerque, NM (May 5, 2021) - There were reported injuries in a car crash in the Albuquerque area on Tuesday, May 4. 

At around 3:40 p.m. that afternoon, local authorities were notified of the impact. The incident reportedly occurred on Interstate 40 EB over the Rio Grande River. Local reports revealed that two vehicles were involved in the accident. 

At this time, the severity of the related injuries has not been confirmed. At least one involved party suffered undisclosed injuries. Emergency responders were on-site to treat those involved in the accident. 

Law enforcement officials are managing the investigation into the collision.
