Albuquerque, NM (May 2, 2021) - On Saturday, May 1, at least one person was injured in a car crash in the city of Albuquerque. 

The accident was reported early that night at around 5:25 p.m. The collision took place near the crossing of Shepard Road NE and Montclaire Drive NE. There were confirmed injuries resulting from the impact. 

The degree of the ensuing injuries has not been disclosed at this time. Emergency responders were dispatched to the site to provide aid to the crash victims. The identities of the injured parties were not included in the initial reports. 

An ongoing crash investigation is being managed by law enforcement officials.
