Las Cruces, NM - Motorcyclist Injured in Pileup Crash at Triviz Dr & Missouri Ave

Las Cruces, NM (April 30, 2021) - A motorcyclist was injured in a multi-vehicle accident in the Las Cruces area on Wednesday, April 28. 

The accident reportedly took place at the intersection of Triviz Drive and Missouri Avenue late that night. A 27-year-old man operating a Harley-Davidson Sportser reportedly suffered injuries in the collision. Local sources indicated that the accident occurred when a white Acura RDX driven by a 19-year-old woman collided with a Nissan Sentra driven by a 72-year-old woman. 

The Acura was reportedly turning left at the intersection when the two vehicles crashed. The motorcyclist was traveling behind the Sentra and was unable to avoid becoming part of the incident. The rider was transported to Mountainview Regional Medical Center before being taken to the University Medical Center of El Paso. 

An ongoing investigation into the collision is being handled by local officials.
