Albuquerque, NM - Injuries After Accident at Copper Ave & Chelwood Park Blvd

Albuquerque, NM (April 30, 2021) - A serious crash in the Albuquerque area required the aid of local officials on Friday morning, April 30. 

The incident was reported by authorities at around 6:47 a.m. that morning. According to reports from the Albuquerque Police Department, the accident took place near the juncture of Copper Avenue NE and Chelwood Park Boulevard NE. At least one involved party suffered undisclosed injuries. 

The degree of the resulting injuries has not been confirmed at this time. The site was closed for several hours while emergency response units cleared the area of related debris. The identities of those involved have not been disclosed. 

An investigation into the cause of the collision is underway.
