Albuquerque, NM - Car Wreck with Injuries at 5th St & Coal Ave

Albuquerque, NM (April 20, 2021) - There were confirmed injuries following a car crash on Tuesday morning, April 20, in Albuquerque. 

Emergency responders were spotted at the scene at around 6:58 a.m. According to initial reports, the accident occurred at the intersection of 5th Street NW and Coal Avenue NW. The extent of the resulting injuries has not yet been disclosed. 

The victims were provided aid by attending medical personnel. The site was closed for several hours while investigators and paramedics were present. EMS vehicles were present to transport injured parties requiring additional treatment. 

An investigation into the cause of the collision is in progress.
