Albuquerque, NM - Deadly Car Crash at I-40 & Tramway Blvd

Albuquerque, NM (March 27, 2021) - An auto accident in the Albuquerque area resulted in fatal injuries on Friday, March 26. 

The fatal collision reportedly occurred late that evening, according to reports from the Albuquerque Police Department. The site of the deadly crash was reportedly located on Interstate 40 EB near Tramway Boulevard. All eastbound lanes on the highway were closed following the accident. 

At least one person sustained fatal injuries in the collision. The site was closed for many hours while emergency response units were at the scene. No further updates on the crash are available at this time. 

The APD is managing an ongoing investigation into the deadly crash.
