Alamogordo, NM - Motorcyclist Killed in Pileup Collision on N White Sands Blvd

Alamogordo, NM (March 25, 2021) - On Wednesday, March 24, a motorcyclist was killed following a multi-vehicle accident in the area of Alamogordo. 

According to the Alamogordo Police Department, the deadly crash occurred on N. White Sand Boulevard. First responders were at the scene at around 5:22 p.m. that evening. A 30-year-old motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. 

Local sources revealed that a maroon passenger vehicle traveling southbound on the roadway crashed into a motorcycle that had left a parking lot. This set off a chain reaction and the car then struck a minivan and a white pickup truck. The driver of the maroon car was taken to Gerald Champion Regional Medical Center for the treatment of sustained injuries. 

An ongoing investigation into the cause of the deadly crash is underway.
