Albuquerque, NM - Jack-Knifed Truck Accident on I-40 Ends in Injuries

Albuquerque, NM (February 28, 2021) - On Saturday, February 27, at around 8:37 p.m., a collision involving an overturned 18-wheeler left resulted in injuries. 

Local sources informed that the scene was located on Interstate 40 EB near mile marker 170. A semi-trailer reportedly jack-knifed on the roadway. At least one person at the scene suffered injuries in the accident.

At this time, the number of resulting injuries has not been provided by local authorities. Multiple emergency response units were called to the scene to render aid to the crash victims. The identities of the injured parties have been withheld. 

The Albuquerque Police Department is investigating the accident at this time.
