Albuquerque, NM - Fatal Head-On Collision at I-40 & 98th St

Albuquerque, NM (January 31, 2021) - There was a confirmed fatality following a head-on collision in Albuquerque on Saturday night, January 30. 

Local reports revealed that the accident occurred at around 11:55 p.m. The site of the accident was located at the intersection of Interstate 40 EB and 98th Street. At least two vehicles reportedly collided head-on. 

One or more accident victims were reportedly trapped inside a vehicle. One of the injured parties was in critical condition, and another sustained fatal injuries. Emergency responders were dispatched to the scene to extricate the trapped parties. 

No further updates on the deadly accident are currently available. An ongoing investigation into the crash is being managed by the Albuquerque Police Department.
