Pedestrian Accidents in Albuquerque

5.1 Albuquerque, NM - Pedestrian Injured in Crash at Eubank Blvd & Central AvePedestrians are some of the most vulnerable roadway travelers, and many drivers fail to look out for those traveling on foot. In 2017, New Mexico led the nation in pedestrian fatality rates. There were 5,977 pedestrians killed nationwide that year, meaning a walker was killed somewhere every 88 minutes on average. Statistics show that pedestrians are almost 1.5 times more likely to suffer fatal injuries in a traffic accident.

There is little protecting a pedestrian from the full impact of a serious accident, meaning that New Mexico car accidents involving pedestrians often result in severe to life-threatening injuries. In the event of a collision, pedestrians are vulnerable to suffering from life-changing injuries and other damages, including medical expenses, lost wages, pain and suffering, and other losses. In some cases, injured parties can recover lost compensation with the help of a qualified New Mexico pedestrian injury lawyer and hold the party liable for the crash responsible for resulting damages.

The legal team at Will Ferguson & Associates is here to help you protect your rights after an accident, and we have years of experience helping our clients pursue successful personal injury claims after being injured by a reckless driver in a New Mexico pedestrian accident. We will make sure the driver responsible is held accountable for your injuries by investigating your accident, constructing a strong case, and pursuing a claim for lost damages.
