Grant County, NM - Auto Collision with Injuries on NM State Road 90 near White Signal

Grant County, NM (February 11, 2023) - Emergency responders were dispatched to the scene of a car accident on Tuesday afternoon, February 7. The incident occurred shortly before 3:00 p.m. 

Sources say the accident took place on New Mexico State Road 90 near White Signal at milepost 20. Responders were sent to the area, located near the intersection with Gold Gulch Road and northeast of Lordsburg. 

What caused the crash to happen has not been disclosed by police at this time. A portion of the highway was closed while emergency crews arrived at the scene. Police instructed motorists to slow down and use extreme caution when approaching the area. 

Traffic delays were seen in the vicinity of the crash site for some time on the afternoon of February 7. Police are still working to determine the reason the accident happened.
