New Mexico Auto Accidents

On average, the state of New Mexico sees over 60,000 car accidents per year. In these accidents, about 20,000 people sustain injuries and hundreds end up losing their lives. Car accidents are not easy to go through. Those injured in serious auto collisions often find themselves in severe pain, both physically and mentally. Additionally, on top of dealing with painful injuries and emotional stress, victims may be worrying about their finances when faced with the many bills associated with sustaining a car crash injury.

The costs related to being injured in a serious accident can be extreme. The average expense of hospitalization related to a car accident injury is somewhere between 10 and 50,000 dollars. This can be overwhelming and stressful for someone who was wrongfully injured in a crash.

The majority of auto collisions in the United States happen due to the actions of negligent drivers. Drivers who choose to look at their phones, the radio, or other people in their car, eat, do their makeup, get drunk, high, or otherwise intoxicated, and travel at unsafe speeds, put themselves and those around them at serious risk for debilitating injuries and even death. Though it may seem harmless to take a peek at your phone while you’re driving, it never is. It’s behavior like this that leads to tragic accidents that can totally upend the lives of those involved.

When you’re injured in a car crash caused by negligence, you deserve to be compensated for the damages and losses you face. A car crash attorney in Albuquerque can help you file a personal injury claim so you can get the compensation you are entitled to during this difficult time.
