Albuquerque, NM (February 19, 2023) – A car accident happened in Albuquerque on the evening of February 19. Shortly before 8:30 p.m., emergency responders were dispatched to the scene of the crash on Interstate 25.
Local reports show the incident occurred on Rio Bravo Boulevard on I-25. An unknown number of cars crashed in the area, causing injuries to the involved parties. At this time, however, the extent of the injuries remains unknown.
The southbound lanes of the interstate were closed due to the vehicle collision that happened for reasons still being investigated by authorities. Local drivers commuting near the crash scene were forced to alternate their travel routes for the time being.
