Albuquerque, NM (January 29, 2023) - A police investigation is currently underway concerning a pedestrian accident that took the life of one person in Albuquerque. The incident was reported to police on Sunday, January 29.
Local reports reveal the crash happened when a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle at the intersection of Louisiana Boulevard and Montgomery Boulevard. The female pedestrian lost her life at the crash scene.
Her identity remains unknown at this time. Authorities in Albuquerque continue to investigate the details of the collision.
Traffic was blocked in both directions on Louisiana Boulevard near the intersection with Montgomery Boulevard. Local drivers were forced to use different routes while the scene was occupied by police and paramedics.
