Clayton, NM (December 4, 2022) - A serious car accident happened between four vehicles in Clayton on Friday morning, December 2. Emergency crews were dispatched to the crash scene shortly after the incident occurred in order to render aid and investigate.
Police stated that a couple present in one of the vehicles was transported to the hospital with injuries. Other injuries were also reported.
Authorities also reported that the incident occurred during the mid-morning while the wind was blowing at dangerous speeds. Paramedics treated injured victims at the scene while other responders worked to clear the wreckage from the roadway.
Local drivers were asked to use different travel routes for the time being. The crash is still under investigation by police in Clayton.
