Deming, NM (November 1, 2022) - A Las Cruces man was killed and another was hurt following a car accident outside of Deming on Friday, October 28.
At around 10:30 a.m., it was reported that 20-year-old Caleb De Santiago of Las Cruces was traveling in a Nissan Tsuru. Santiago reportedly crossed the center line and crashed head-on with a Toyota Corolla driven by a 43-year-old Columbus man.
Santiago suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the other vehicle was hospitalized for treatment. No updates on his condition have been provided at this time.
An ongoing crash investigation is in the hands of local authorities.
