Albuquerque, NM - Major Car Wreck on Southern St near Eubank Blvd SE

Albuquerque, NM (August 27, 2022) - Shortly after 7:00 p.m. on the night of August 27, responders were sent to the scene of a collision in Albuquerque. According to information from reports, the incident occurred on Southern Street for reasons still being investigated. 

Sources say the accident occurred on Southern Street near Eubank Boulevard South East. An unknown number of vehicles collided in the area and caused injuries to those involved. 

At least one person was injured and transported to a local hospital with injuries. Currently, the involved parties have not been identified to the public. 

Traffic was backed up in the area while police and other responders were present. Local authorities asked drivers commuting near the crash scene to use alternate routes for the time being.
