Albuquerque, NM - Car Wreck on Tingley St near Central Ave Results in Injuries, Delays

Albuquerque, NM (August 20, 2022) - On the evening of August 19, responders were sent to the scene of a car wreck in Albuquerque. Reports indicate that the accident happened at approximately 7:42 p.m. 

According to information from officials, the wreck occurred on Tingley Street near Central Avenue between an unspecified number of cars. At least one person sustained injuries in the collision. 

At this time, police continue to investigate the details of the incident. Paramedics rendered emergency medical aid to injured victims on-site before transporting one or more patients to area hospitals for further assistance. 

Tingley Street was closed near Central Avenue while police, paramedics, and other responders worked in the area. Local drivers were asked to use different routes of travel while the crash site was active. 

Currently, nothing further has been reported concerning the nature of the crash.
