Santa Rosa, NM (July 18, 2022) - Just before 12:00 noon on July 16, a car wreck was reported in Santa Rosa that caused at least one person to become injured. At approximately 11:51 a.m., reports were made to authorities in the area concerning the wreck on Interstate 40.
According to information provided by officials, vehicles collided on Interstate 40 near milepost 272 resulting in injuries for at least one person. Those involved in the crash were rendered emergency medical aid at the scene by paramedics.
At least one person was transported by ambulance to a local hospital for treatment. At this time, those involved in the wreck have not been identified.
What caused the accident remains under police investigation at this time. We hope for the full and fast recovery of those with injuries.
