Albuquerque, NM - Two Killed in Five-Car Crash at Gibson & Yale Blvd

Albuquerque, NM (July 21, 2022) - A multi-vehicle collision in Albuquerque left two people dead on Thursday, July 21. The fatal crash took place at the intersection of Gibson and Yale Boulevards. 

Local reports revealed that a silver Ford F-150 pickup truck was headed westbound when the driver crossed the median. The pickup crashed head-on with two other vehicles. Both drivers in other cars suffered fatal injuries. 

All eastbound lanes were temporarily closed due to the crash. Emergency responders were sent and a blood alcohol test was conducted. 

No further updates have been provided. 

An ongoing investigation into the cause of the deadly crash is underway.
