Albuquerque, NM - Major MVA on I-25 near Lomas Blvd/Exit 225

Albuquerque, NM (July 18, 2022) - A major motor vehicle crash was reported in Albuquerque on the morning of July 15. Just before 11:00 a.m., police and EMTs were notified of the collision on Interstate 25. 

According to information from reports provided by the New Mexico Department of Transportation, the accident took place in the southbound lanes of Interstate 25 near Lomas Boulevard/Exit 225. 

Two left lanes of the interstate were blocked while responders worked in the area. Paramedics rendered emergency medical aid to those in need at the scene. 

How many people were injured in the accident remains unknown at this time. Authorities in Albuquerque continue to investigate the circumstances of the collision.
