Albuquerque, NM - Major MVA on Coors Blvd near Sage Rd

Albuquerque, NM (July 19, 2022) - Authorities were called to the scene of a car crash on the afternoon of July 18 in South Valley. At approximately 2:20 p.m., emergency calls were made to the police concerning an auto accident on Coors Boulevard. 

According to information from local reports, the accident occurred in the northbound lanes of Coors Boulevard in the vicinity of Sage Road. An unknown number of vehicles were involved in a crash in the area that caused injuries. 

Emergency personnel, including police, EMTs, and fire crews, were sent to the scene to help injured parties. One or more people were sent to the hospital with injuries. 

At this time, it remains unclear what led to the collision. Police in Albuquerque continue to investigate the circumstances of the crash.
