Deadly Motorcycle Accidents in New Mexico
Every year in the United States, tens of thousands of bikers are killed in vehicle accidents, with the number of deaths increasing year after year. Motorcycle riding is very popular in New Mexico, and many individuals enjoy riding their bikes all throughout the state. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, over 80% of motorcycle accidents result in death or injury, with motorcyclists being 27 times more likely to die in a traffic accident.
Wrongful death procedures are launched when a family member dies as a result of someone else's carelessness, and the surviving relatives are compensated. Unfortunately, figuring out who is to blame isn't often so straightforward. The victim's death does not free the perpetrator of blame. Insurance companies for individuals who are at fault in a tragic accident have a history of shifting responsibility. Following a fatal vehicle accident, the at-fault party is accountable for paying the deceased's family for accident-related expenditures.
