Alamogordo, NM (June 16, 2022) - One person was killed following a collision involving an Alamogordo police officer on Wednesday morning, June 15. The deadly crash was reported on N. White Sands Boulevard at around 11 a.m.
Local reports revealed that an officer with the Alamogordo Police Department was driving when they crashed into another motorist. The other driver sustained fatal injuries in the accident. A passenger with the officer was injured and transported to a local hospital.
An ongoing investigation into the cause of the accident is underway.
