Albuquerque, NM (May 15, 2022) - There were confirmed casualties after a car crash in the Albuquerque area on Saturday afternoon, May 14. The crash occurred at the intersection of San Mateo and Montgomery Boulevards NE about 2:38 p.m.
At the site of the accident, emergency personnel were seen. At least one person had unknown injuries as a result of the crash. The area was momentarily closed to outside traffic as first responders attended to the victims. Ambulance crews were sent to transport persons who need special care to local hospitals. There have been no more updates on the crash at this time.
The cause of the crash is currently under investigation. More information will be released as the inquiry progresses.
