Albuquerque, NM (May 15, 2022) - A motorcyclist was killed after being hit by another vehicle in the Albuquerque area on Wednesday morning, May 4. The deadly accident was reported at the intersection of Louisiana Boulevard and Indian School Road at around 7 a.m.
Local reports revealed that the driver of an SUV was waiting at a red light at the intersection. The motorist started a left turn as the light turned green. A motorcyclist was headed south and both vehicles collided.
The motorcyclist suffered fatal injuries and was found unresponsive at the scene. No one in the SUV was hurt in the crash. Authorities stated that the deceased party had the right of way.
An investigation into the cause of the deadly crash is underway.
