Albuquerque, NM (April 13, 2022) - Two women were killed following a crash involving a semi-truck near Albuquerque on Saturday night, April 9. The deadly accident was reported at around 11 p.m. on Interstate 40.
Local sources revealed that 21-year-old Chelsea Valladares and 22-year-old Kelli Ingle were traveling in a vehicle when it crashed into a guard rail. While stopped on the highway, their car was hit by an oncoming semi-truck.
Valladares suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. Ingle was taken to Gallup Hospital where she later succumbed to her injuries. Both victims were reportedly students at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix.
