Albuquerque, NM (March 5, 2022) - One person was killed and another injured following a two-vehicle crash in Albuquerque on Saturday morning, March 5. The deadly accident was reported on Interstate 40 WB near Carlisle Boulevard.
Local reports revealed that the driver of a black Acura was traveling east on the westbound lanes of the highway. The vehicle crashed head-on with an oncoming white Chevrolet Tahoe. The driver of the Acura suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The other driver was taken to a local hospital for treatment of sustained injuries.
An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is underway.
