Albuquerque, NM - Tow Truck Driver Injured in Hit-&-Run on I-40

Albuquerque, NM (January 29, 2022) - A tow truck driver was left in critical condition after being hit by a motor vehicle in Albuquerque on Friday, January 28. The accident took place on Interstate 40. 

The victim was assisting at the scene of an accident on the side of the highway. A driver reportedly swerved and hit the man as he stood on the road. The at-fault driver fled the scene without rendering aid to the injured party. 

The wounded pedestrian was transported to a local hospital in critical condition. No updates on their condition have been revealed at this time. Authorities are currently seeking the identity of the at-fault motorist. 

An ongoing investigation into the crash is underway.
