Albuquerque, NM (November 30, 2021) - Albuquerque police officers were deployed to a major car accident on Sunday morning, November 28. According to local officials, the collision happened at 11:25 a.m. at the intersection of Interstate 25 NB and Lead Avenue.
Several lanes were temporarily closed while emergency personnel assisted the victims. As a result of the accident, at least one person was injured. The extent of the injuries is unknown at this time. The injured people were taken to a nearby hospital by ambulance for further treatment.
