Albuquerque, NM (September 28, 2021) - A deadly hit-and-run accident was reported in northwest Albuquerque on Monday, September 27.
The fatal crash occurred near a gas station located at the 201 block of Coors Boulevard NW. A pedestrian was reportedly hit by a motor vehicle. Local sources indicated that the at-fault driver fled the scene.
The pedestrian was transported to the University of New Mexico Hospital for treatment of sustained injuries. She was later pronounced dead. The deceased party was traveling east on Avalon Road when she was hit by a white SUV. No further information has been provided at this time.
