Albuquerque, NM (September 20, 2021) - In Albuquerque on Sunday, September 19, at least one person was injured in a car collision.
According to witnesses, the incident happened around 1:56 p.m. A car accident occurred near the intersection of Avenida Cesar Chavez and Interstate 25 NB. Several lanes had to be closed because of the incident on the highway.
After the accident, the emergency medical services were quick to arrive. Ambulances were immediately dispatched in response to an emergency call and arrived on the scene within minutes. The injured were transferred to surrounding hospitals by medical staff. There aren't any new developments as of now.
Local officials have been tasked with conducting an inquiry into what happened. As the investigation continues, additional information will be made available to the public.
