Deadly Motorcycle Accidents in Albuquerque
According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, over 80% of motorcycle accidents result in death or injury, with motorcyclists having a 27-fold greater risk of dying in a traffic collision than passengers in passenger automobiles. Thousands of motorcyclists die every year in automobile incidents across the United States, with the number of fatalities increasing year after year. Motorcycle riding is highly popular in New Mexico, and many individuals enjoy riding their bikes around the state.
Unfortunately, these vehicles put drivers and passengers on the road at greater risk, increasing the number of deadly motorcycle accidents across the country. Motorcycle riders and passengers are extremely susceptible in the event of an accident. For these and other reasons, motorcycle accidents are substantially overrepresented in national traffic fatalities. Following a tragic motorcycle accident, families of dead victims should consult with a New Mexico motorcycle injury lawyer about their legal rights to compensation.
When a tragic accident occurs, it is common for the at-fault party's insurance company to try to transfer blame. The person responsible for a fatal car accident in New Mexico must pay the deceased's family for accident-related expenditures. This is something that only an Albuquerque legal company with experience defending wrongful death victims might help you with.
