Albuquerque, NM - Car Wreck with Injuries at I-40 & 2nd St

Albuquerque, NM (July 4, 2021) - A serious car collision in Albuquerque on Friday, July 2, resulted in verified injuries, according to local officials.

The incident occurred at around 6:29 p.m. that night. The crash site was reportedly located near the junction of Interstate 40 EB and 2nd Street.  Several traffic closures were reported due to the collision. 

Emergency personnel were seen at the site, assisting the people involved. Local officials have not yet revealed the extent of the injuries involved.  At this time, initial reports have not revealed the identities of those injured in the crash.
