Albuquerque, NM - Injuries After Accident at I-40 & San Mateo Blvd

Albuquerque, NM (June 4, 2021) - First responders were called to the scene of an injury collision in the Albuquerque area on Thursday, June 3. 

Local sources indicated that the accident happened at around 10:57 p.m. that evening. Two vehicles collided at the intersection of Interstate 40 WB and San Mateo Boulevard NE. The site was closed temporarily after paramedics and law enforcement officials arrived. 

There were reported injuries following the crash, but the severity and number of those injuries have not been disclosed. The identities of the injured parties were not provided in local sources. 

An ongoing crash investigation is being handled by law enforcement officials.
