Albuquerque, NM - I-40 & Rio Grande Blvd Scene of Injury Collision

Albuquerque, NM (June 6, 2021) - At least one person was injured in a vehicle collision in the Albuquerque area on Saturday, June 5. 

The accident was reported early that morning at around 9:45 a.m. The scene was located at the intersection of Interstate 40 WB and Rio Grande Boulevard. There were reported injuries following the crash. 

When local officials arrived, a roadblock was put in place, closing multiple lanes on the roadway. The injured parties were provided treatment by attending medical personnel. 

Law enforcement officials are handling the ongoing crash investigation.
