Madrid, NM - Raymond Renfrow Injured in Motorcycle Crash on NM-14

Madrid, NM (May 4, 2021) - Two motorcyclists were injured following a collision outside of Madrid on Sunday, May 2. 

The accident took place on NM-14 at around 3:30 p.m. that afternoon. According to local reports, 43-year-old Raymond Renfrow was traveling northbound on the highway on a Suzuki motorcycle. At the same time, 27-year-old Rodolfo Cano-Montoya was riding northbound on a Harley Davidson. 

The two riders collided head-on. Cano-Montoya suffered critical injuries and was airlifted to the University of New Mexico Hospital in Albuquerque for treatment. Renfrow was transported to Christus St. Vincent Regional Medical Center by ambulance. No further updates on the conditions of the injured parties have been provided at this time. 

An ongoing investigation into the cause of the accident is in progress.
